SnowA winterland of sparkling white,
glistens off the morning light.
Blankets of snow cover the ground.
Still coming down without a sound.
The trees are white and the leaves are too.
Oh what a sight for so very few.
The children are happy as they awake from their beds.
Thoughts of snowball fights race through their heads.
They scurry to the door and put on their shoes.
"Where to go first, it's so hard to choose."
Out the front door and into the yard.
Trudging through the snow is sort of hard.
Snow went flying and the fight was done.
The kids were tired and they had their fun.
They all went to bed and snugged in tight,
and the snow was gone in the morning light.
